Who is the belly dance course for?
All shapes, sizes, ages (over 14) and levels of fitness are welcome. You can take it at the pace that suits you.
Can I try a class before I commit to the full course?
Yes, you can try a class for £5 and if you like it, that will be reduced from your final course fee.
What does BAMBA do?
Birmingham and Midlands Belly Dance Association (Bamba) organises regular workshops , events Parties called haflas in and around Birmingham. You can dress up and dance if you choose - or just come along and have fun!
How will I learn belly dance?
I teach Accelerated Learning Techniques, incorporating at least 40 belly dance moves at the beginning of every class. I don’t expect students to learn and master all the belly dance moves immediately as muscle memory takes time to develop.
What do I need to wear to belly dance?
Just a comfortable top and jogging bottoms or flowing skirt will do. Although students who have been dancing for a while often enjoy dressing up in belly dance outfits.
